Meandering through Prague
Prague has a colourful history. It was founded in 1306 BC and has, since then, been the capital of Bohemia, the Holy Roman Empire, Czechoslovakia and since 1993, the Czech Republic. If you’d like to find out more, you can read more about the history of the city here and here.
I love to photograph architecture and luckily much of the architecture here survived WW2, it’s not every city in Europe that you can say that about. It’s a happy mix of Baroque, Renaissance, Gothic, Art Nouveau and much more. It’s a beautiful city and it was a lovely weekend break for me.
As you can see, I dallied with colour isolation in the post processing and upped the contrast quite considerably. I have also added a watermark to the images, I hope it won’t bother anyone too much. It seems that some of my images have been wandering across the internet, so I thought if they’re going to travel, perhaps they should take the website with them 😉
